UGP Verified (reserved)

“UGP Verified” is reserved for devices inspected under the steward's certification programme and for approved graders. The programme is not open yet.

Reserved. No device, grader or facility is "UGP Verified" yet. Until the steward publishes the programme rules, nobody uses the name or the badge.

What it will mean

"UGP Verified" and its badge are reserved for:

  • devices inspected under the steward's certification programme, at verification tier V2 (the unit, or a lot sample under §14.5, inspected by the steward or an inspector the steward approved);
  • graders and facilities the steward has approved.

What it is not

  • Not V0 or V1. A declared or evidenced record is graded to UGP, not verified by the steward. Claim it as Graded to UGP v1.0 · UGP-Full · V0 Declared or V1 Evidenced. §13.3
  • Not a listing. Appearing in Implementers is self-description, not verification.

When it opens

The steward will publish the programme rules and a public registry of approved graders and facilities on this site. They will be announced in the changelog.
